Welcome! Contemplative Fire is a movement, a community and an adventure, celebrating life in all its fullness on the Way of Christ.

Contemplative Fire is emerging into a number of small communities of Christ at the edge. Many of these are gentle and generative but quite hidden. The pace of their gradual unfolding doesn't yet warrant their appearance on the Events or Calendar section of our website. We ask you, therefore, to have patience as Contemplative Fire moves from offering a number of central events to encouraging small groups of contemplatives in action to cluster locally and regionally.

The other big shift in the last few months has been that we are making fuller provision for those we call Companions on the Way. These are those who wish to travel light, dwell deep, to commit to our threefold rhythm of life and to celebrate and support the development of the Contemplative Fire community (see the Guide).

We are arranging more resources in different parts of the country for Companions on the Way. These include retreats, day and weekend events, online and email resources and training for leaders.
